Bifrost Direct Tunnel Client

We’re excited to introduce the Bifrost Direct Tunnel Client, which replaces the Netbird Client previously used during the Beta phase. This new client offers a more streamlined experience by improving:

  • User onboarding
  • Version compatibility
  • Overall user experience

Additionally, it provides richer, purpose-built insights tailored to Direct Tunnel use cases.

Manager Updates 

Direct Tunnel is now out of Beta, with the following improvements:

    • Enhanced audit points for better visibility and tracking
    • New feature: Bulk removal of subnet mappings at the Unit level
    • Improved performance and stability
    • New option: Change the Ethernet configuration on a Bifrost Unit
    • UI enhancement: Display the current Ethernet IP address on the Bifrost Unit details page
